Hi all,

I have added to the forum homepage some apps. And yes it just beta.

-There is an Photo Viewer to quickly browse the galleries on SpandexPower.com
-There is an Audioplayer with songs of Shinyuploads
-There is an Video Player that is currently under development. This player will play Youtube videos / Live streams and file based videos. 

I will also create an option to upload videos (I'm testing that in this topic: https://shinyforums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=7169&title=tiktok-videos) or reals from other social media platforms. My intension is to create an player for that with small banners that you are able to mention the creator.

If you have any idea's on other Apps or functions to create... just let me know. I will check if it is possible to add it.

The forum has been updated and i also fixed the outbound e-mail problem for now.

Password Reset
I have changed the way the forum handles password resets. In the past a new password was send by e-mail after you requested a new password. This has now been changed. You now receive an password reset link that is valid for one hour. You can now choose your own password after you open the link. If you have any issues please let me know.

Internal network upgrade
This weekend i upgraded the internal network to 10 gigabit so this should be feature proof. This year my provider will upgrade the connection that now only 1 gigabit.

Hi everyone,

This weekend (Saturday 28 feb / Sunday 1 march) i will do some maintenance on the forum (new version). I have also some issues to solve like the outbound e-mail. For some reason the IPv4 address will be blocked random by Hotmail. I contacted my provider but we can not solve this at this time with them. So i will rent a server at another datacenter in Amsterdam that handles only outbound e-mail.

Some more changes are coming up but thats for later..

We experience some issues with outbound e-mail. If you don't receive an activation e-mail or password reset e-mail please try the 'Reset Password' option or send an e-mail to info@shinyforums.com.

The first change has arrived. The name and logo have been updated. Over the coming week, I'll be working on the theme. I'd love to know whether you prefer a light or dark theme.

In addition, I'll be removing some remaining links to ShinyUploads that are still embedded in the code. If you have any ideas for color schemes or a brilliant concept for a logo, feel free to share them!
